Becoming a guide for breathing protection

The apprenticeship to become a breathing protected fireman is an additional education to the basic course 1. The duration of a training course is 24 hours.
Requirements are a completed basic course 1, the medical ability for breathing protection and the age of at least 18 years.

		Contents of the training Respiration (exhaled air) Oxygen deficiency, breathing poisons and other pollutants Requirements to the breathing protection and the responsibility Self-contained breathing apparatus Trainig with self-contained breathing apparatus Communication, physical stress, activities during the effort

		Aim of the training The firefighter has to learn to protect himself against dangers from breathing poisons and oxygen failing, with which he has to face during emergencies and to act in a right way depending on the situation.
